VFT technology means the face changes from thicker in the center to ultrathin around the edges. This increases the ball speed off the clubface, moving it as close as possible to the USGA limit. This Hawkeye VFT wood provides the potential for greater distance with the same amount of clubhead speed. An expanded head volume combined with a large deeper face increases the size of the effective hitting area and helps increase ball speed resulting in higher rebound speed.
